Thanks for choosing EZ-Scan 3.0.
First install the EZ-Scan software. You can install the software without a key, but it will run in Demo Mode. This will allow you to use the software for 45 days.
Insert your EZ-Scan software in the CD Rom drive. The installation program should start automatically. If it doesn't start automatically, browse to the CD Rom drive in My Computer or Windows Explorer and double click on Setup.exe.
The installation program will guide you through the installation of EZ-Scan.
With your EZ-Scan CD you will receive a hardware key that enables your software. There are 2 different type keys. Either version will enable your software. Simply plug the parallel port key on the printer port, or plug the USB key into an available USB slot.

When you start EZ-Scan for the first time, the 'Startup Wizard' will run to help you set your initial settings.
